Voyah Shows Failed Attempt at 360-Degree Loop in Passion S

Chinese automaker Voyah, after launching its new electric crossover Passion S, decided to prove the authenticity of its extreme 360-degree loop stunt. The company released a continuous recording of a successful run, as well as a video showing a camouflaged prototype failing to complete the loop and falling from the tunnel ceiling, reports infohub.kz.

Earlier, it was reported that the Voyah Passion S replicated the famous Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG stunt from the commercial featuring Michael Schumacher. At that time, the company claimed that the production car completed a full loop on the wall and ceiling of a closed tunnel without special effects or technical modifications.

However, after the release of the video, doubts about its authenticity emerged online. Now Voyah has decided to address them in an unusual way – by showing a video of a failed attempt.

In the footage, a camouflaged prototype of the Passion S drives onto the tunnel wall but fails to maintain its trajectory. The car loses grip and falls down. The very possibility of multiple attempts using real vehicles indirectly confirms that this was indeed a physical test, not just computer graphics.

Voyah then presented a continuous video of a successful 360-degree loop. The company used it as proof that the previously published stunt was not assembled from separate fragments.

At the same time, Voyah officially launched the Passion S in China. The electric FUV is available in three trim levels priced from 229,900 to 279,900 yuan, which at the time of writing is equivalent to 15.8–19.2 million tenge.

The vehicle is offered with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In the AWD version, two electric motors produce a combined 475 kW (637 hp), and batteries with capacities of 81 or 98 kWh provide a range of up to 740 km on the CLTC cycle.

Additionally, the Passion S features an 800-volt architecture with 5C charging, LiDAR, and the Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0 driver assistance system.

Earlier, the publication "Kursiv Avto" reported how Voyah sent the crossover flying with a 20-meter jump.
