In Ust-Kamenogorsk, police have located a woman who was wanted for a debt of over one million tenge to a local resident, reports the website infohub.kz.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' website, a private court executor's order to search for the debtor was received by the migration service department of the Ust-Kamenogorsk police. The woman had been evading her obligations since December 2025.
During search operations, migration service officers found the 31-year-old debtor in Shymkent. Information about her whereabouts has been transferred to the court executor for measures to enforce the debt collection, the statement said.
Since the beginning of the year, the police department of the East Kazakhstan region has located more than 65 debtors who were on the wanted list.
The migration service of the East Kazakhstan region police reminds that failure to comply with executive documents entails administrative and criminal liability under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and urges citizens to fulfill their obligations in a timely manner to avoid additional sanctions, police added.
