According to Kazhydromet, North Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions can expect rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls. Severe heat persists in Karaganda (35-37°C), East Kazakhstan (35-37°C), Abai (36-38°C), Mangystau (38-42°C), Ulytau (36-39°C), and Kyzylorda (40-44°C) regions. Among cities, the highest temperatures are forecast in the south: Taraz up to 45°C, Shymkent up to 47°C, and Turkestan up to 48°C. In Astana, daytime highs of 34-36°C, overnight lows of 18-20°C, with occasional rain and thunderstorms, and winds of 9-14 m/s. In Almaty, daytime 40-42°C, nighttime 24-26°C, wind 3-8 m/s. In Shymkent, daytime 45-47°C, nighttime 27-29°C, wind 8-13 m/s with gusts up to 20 m/s.
