In Aktobe, participants of a wedding procession have been held accountable for gross violations of traffic rules: passengers leaned out of car windows for spectacular shots, reports infohub.kz.

According to the Interior Ministry's website, during monitoring of social networks, police officers identified a video showing participants of the wedding procession grossly violating traffic rules.

"In the published footage, passengers lean out of moving vehicles, drivers use phones while driving. In addition, drivers are not wearing seat belts. Such behavior poses a real threat not only to the procession participants themselves but also to other road users," police reported.

Police identified the drivers and passengers of the vehicles involved in the procession. All violators have been brought to justice in accordance with the law. One of the vehicles was impounded.

"A festive event is not a reason to ignore traffic rules. Attempts to take spectacular videos, lean out of a car window, or neglect seat belts can lead to tragedy," law enforcement reminded.
