A court dispute between former in-laws over a 126,000 tenge debt in West Kazakhstan region ended in reconciliation, infohub.kz reports.

According to the official Telegram channel of West Kazakhstan region courts, the debt repayment dispute between former in-laws at the Taskala District Court concluded with the parties reconciling.

Case materials show that a local woman borrowed 126,000 tenge from her former in-law. After their children divorced, disagreements arose between the two parties.

Since the money could not be returned voluntarily, the plaintiff was forced to go to court to protect her legal rights and interests.

During the reconciliation procedure, the judge explained the benefits of settling the dispute through mediation. As a result, the former relatives were able to overcome their differences and concluded a mediation agreement. Under the document, the parties agreed on the procedure, timeline and terms for voluntary repayment of the funds.

The court approved the agreement and issued a ruling to terminate the civil case proceedings. The plaintiff will also be refunded the state fee paid when filing the claim.

The court ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
