In the first days of September, from the 1st to the 3rd, most of Kazakhstan will be under the influence of a vast northern anticyclone, which will bring mostly dry and partly cloudy weather. However, in some regions, forecasters predict precipitation, including wet snow, as well as nighttime frosts, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Kazhydromet weather service, frosts are expected in places in the northern half of the republic during the night, while daytime temperatures will gradually rise.
On September 1 and 2, in the north, east, and center of the country, under the influence of a trough of a northern cyclone and associated atmospheric fronts, precipitation in the form of rain and wet snow is expected at night, and rain and thunderstorms during the day. In the mountainous areas of Almaty region, heavy rains with thunderstorms and hail are expected throughout the period. In the north, east, south, and southeast, winds will strengthen. In the northwest, north, and east of the country, fog is possible in places during the night and morning hours.
Air temperatures will be distributed as follows. In the west of the country, nighttime temperatures will be +10...+18°C, with daytime highs rising slightly from +25...+30°C to +28...+33°C. In Mangystau region, nighttime temperatures will be +13...+21°C, and daytime temperatures from +27...+32°C to +30...+35°C.
In the northwest and north of the country, nighttime temperatures will range from 0...+5°C, with frosts down to -3 degrees in places, to +2...+7°C, and up to +10°C in the west of the region, with ground frosts down to -1 degree. Daytime temperatures are expected to rise from +10...+28°C to +20...+33°C.
In the east and center of the country, nighttime temperatures will be 0...+5°C, up to +10°C in the south of the region, with frosts down to -3 degrees in places. Daytime temperatures will rise from +12...+25°C to +15...+30°C.
In the southern regions of Kazakhstan, a temperature drop is also expected: at night from +13...+18°C, in mountainous areas +5...+10°C, in places up to +10...+15°C, in the mountains +3...+8°C. Daytime temperatures will range from +20...+25°C, in mountainous areas +10...+15°C, to +18...+23°C, in the mountains +7...+12°C.
