US Presidential Special Envoy Stephen Witkoff said that talks between Ukraine and Russia, mediated by Washington, will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11, infohub.kz reports.

The envoy of Donald Trump wrote about this on the social network X. According to him, the United States will act as mediator in working-level talks between Ukraine and Russia, which will be held on November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi. Witkoff noted that this would be a continuation of President Donald Trump's mission to end the war.

According to the special envoy, the discussions will focus primarily on post-war security mechanisms, de-escalation of the conflict, humanitarian issues and further steps toward peace.

He also said that in the coming days American negotiators will meet in Brussels with representatives of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the European Union and NATO to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe's post-war security architecture, and economic opportunities to support the country's reconstruction.

"We look forward to building on the progress made in Kyiv, Oslo and St. Petersburg and moving closer to a comprehensive and long-term peace agreement that will provide lasting security for generations to come," Witkoff wrote.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to organize a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Turkey.
