An EMERCOM helicopter evacuated a woman who fell from a cliff at an altitude of 3,010 meters on Bukreev Peak, reports infohub.kz.

The incident occurred near Bukreev Peak at 3,010 meters above sea level. Rescuers from the Republican Rescue Service "Barys" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, together with the Department for Emergency Situations of Almaty, arrived at the scene for search and rescue operations.

According to preliminary data, the woman fell from a cliff, sustained a head injury, and lost the ability to move independently. Before the rescuers arrived, a witness provided first aid.

For safe evacuation, a helicopter from Kazaviaspas Joint-Stock Company was used. Rescuers transported the woman by air to the Medeu helipad, where she was handed over to a team from the Disaster Medicine Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for further medical care.
