In the Aksu district of the Zhetysu region, a brawl broke out between women, during which one participant kicked another in the face in the presence of a police officer. The incident was captured on video and posted on the Telegram channel "Criminal Kazakhstan," reports infohub.kz.
According to the publication, a conflict between traders escalated into a fight. The footage shows one woman approaching her opponent lying on the ground and kicking her in the face, while a police officer stands nearby. It is reported that the victim was hospitalized.
The press service of the Zhetysu Regional Police Department told NUR.KZ that a criminal case has been opened on the fact of battery. All parties involved have been identified and taken to the district police station. According to preliminary data, the suspect and the victim were previously acquainted.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are underway to establish all circumstances of the incident and provide a legal assessment of the actions of those involved.
"Based on the results of the investigation, a procedural decision will be made in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Other information, in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation," the department stated.
