In Almaty, police are investigating a report of possible unlawful actions against a young woman. Both parties to the conflict give different versions of events, reports infohub.kz.
The incident took place in a residential complex in the Alatau district. The inquiry was prompted by a nighttime call to the 102 emergency line, to which police officers immediately responded.
According to preliminary information, the woman stated that after meeting a stranger, she ended up at his home. A conflict later arose between them, after which she reported unlawful actions by the man. "The woman explained that she found herself in a difficult situation and after meeting a stranger, she ended up at his home. Later, a conflict occurred between them, after which she contacted the police, alleging unlawful behavior by the man," police said.
The man, for his part, provides a different account. He claims he decided to help the unknown woman, who said she could not reach her relatives and had no means of communication. "The man states that he offered temporary assistance purely out of human decency, as the woman said she could not reach her relatives and had no communication," police added.
Currently, officers are establishing all circumstances of the incident, verifying the arguments of both sides, and conducting procedural actions. "Following the investigation, a legal assessment will be made in accordance with the law," police concluded.
