Starting September 2, a women's carriage will be added to Talgo passenger train No. 81/82 on the Nurly Zhol — Oral route. The decision was made due to high demand for the service, reports the website infohub.kz.
The train runs every other day between the capital and the West Kazakhstan Region, with nine stops. After the launch of the new carriage, the number of routes offering the 'Women's Carriage' service will increase to 13. Currently, such carriages are available on the following routes: Almaty — Mangistau, Almaty — Oskemen, Pavlodar — Turkistan, Mangistau — Semey, Atyrau — Nurly Zhol, Almaty — Aktobe, Nurly Zhol — Almaty, Nurly Zhol — Shymkent, Aktobe — Almaty, Almaty — Shymkent, Nurly Zhol — Semey, and Oral — Mangistau.
Women and boys up to the age of seven inclusive, accompanied by adults, are allowed to travel in the women's carriage. Tickets can be purchased at railway ticket offices or on the carrier's official website, with attention to the marking 'ZHN'. Sales open 45 days before departure.
