Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled the interior of its new hybrid crossover, the Skynomad N70 Max. The brand's flagship model offers an electric-only range of up to 505 km and a combined range of up to 1,461 km, according to infohub.kz.

The Skynomad N70 Max is positioned as an "intelligent crossover with transformable space" and seats five. Its key selling point is range. The 76 kWh NMC battery provides up to 505 km of electric-only driving on the CLTC cycle, which Xiaomi claims is the world's best for an EREV vehicle. Total range reaches 1,461 km on CLTC, with claimed fuel consumption of 6.1 L/100 km when the battery is low.

The flagship measures 4,960 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,765 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The second-row seats can slide backward, increasing passenger legroom to 1,410 mm. The seats can also be reconfigured to carry bulky items, with cargo volume expanding to an impressive 2,425 liters.

Electronic functions are powered by a 4nm processor. The autonomous driving system includes a lidar, a 4D millimeter-wave radar, and Xiaomi's HAD system, with computing power of up to 700 TOPS.

The Skynomad N70 Max features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup producing 310 kW (416 hp). Top speed is 190 km/h. The suspension is independent, with double wishbones up front and a multi-link setup in the rear, plus air springs and continuously adjustable dampers.

Safety is ensured by nine airbags, a built-in safety cage, and reinforced steel elements with tensile strength up to 2,200 MPa.

The pre-sale price of the Xiaomi Skynomad N70 Max in China is 259,900 yuan (about 19.2 million tenge). Earlier reports said the SkyNomad N90 accommodates 7 people and 7 suitcases.
