Deputy Prime Minister Yerlan Karin has proposed developing new tools to advance the "Taza Qazaqstan" initiative, including a unified digital platform, a national cleanliness standard, regional ratings, and an online greening map of the country. The proposals were discussed at a meeting of the ideological council, according to a statement from the Akorda, as reported by infohub.kz.
The meeting was attended by heads of structural divisions of the Presidential Administration and relevant central government agencies.
One session focused on systematically promoting constitutional values. Karin noted that the principles enshrined in the Constitution form the foundation of the president's strategic reform agenda.
According to him, state policy should aim to ensure the rule of law and order, strengthen national unity, interethnic and interfaith harmony, develop culture, education, science and innovation, protect the environment, and promote the cult of labor, social optimism and responsible patriotism.
Karin identified the presidential decree "On Approval of the Basic Principles, Values and Directions of Domestic Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the action plan for promoting the Constitution as the main documents for the state apparatus in this area.
Separately, participants examined the formation of a new public ethics. The deputy prime minister called for countering attempts to impose alien values and behavioral norms, the archaization of public life and the mythologization of history.
In this regard, he emphasized the importance of consistently implementing the "Law and Order" principle, the "Taza Qazaqstan" project and the "Adal Azamat" education program. To further develop "Taza Qazaqstan," he proposed creating a unified digital platform, forming regional ratings, introducing a national cleanliness standard and developing an online greening map of Kazakhstan.
Another session addressed the implementation of strategic documents in domestic policy, including the "Qazaqstan Balalary" concept, the concept for developing state policy in the religious sphere, the state youth policy concept and the concept for military-patriotic education of youth.
Karin also drew attention to the need to promptly develop the "Reading Nation" concept and a new concept for the development of interethnic relations and public accord.
The deputy prime minister stressed that national projects and initiatives must be integrated into the overall course of the country's modernization.
"We must continue systematizing domestic policy – establishing uniform requirements, clear regulations and procedures. We cannot slow down or rest on our laurels; we must constantly move forward. Our common task is to effectively respond to citizens' demands, promote a constructive agenda and new constitutional values, and ensure the quality and effective implementation of presidential initiatives," Yerlan Karin said.
Following the meeting, relevant government agencies were given instructions on the practical implementation of the main directions of domestic policy.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that Kazakhstan will prepare a new spelling dictionary of the Kazakh language – the current version has not been updated since 2013. Yerlan Karin said the project would be developed by a special working group of respected scholars, after which the document would be reviewed and approved by an interagency commission.
