Kazakhstan's Vice President Yerlan Karin has outlined three main priorities for the country's domestic policy: constitutional values, a new public ethic, and a future-oriented outlook. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel, according to infohub.kz.
Karin identified the formation of a new public ethic as one of the key areas. According to him, this involves establishing new norms of behavior in society and strengthening its own value foundations.
"This is about rooting progressive norms and models of behavior in society, strengthening our own value foundations, countering the archaization of public life and attempts to substitute historical facts," Yerlan Karin said.
He said particular attention must be paid to the practical implementation of the principles of "Law and Order," the "Taza Qazaqstan" project, and the "Adal Azamat" education program.
"New approaches and forms of work are needed. In particular, scaling up the presidential initiative 'Taza Qazaqstan' through the creation of a unified digital platform, the introduction of a national cleanliness standard and a regional cleanliness rating," Karin noted on his Telegram channel.
The vice president named constitutional values as the first priority.
"They form the basis of the political course of President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev's reforms. These are the supremacy of Law and Order, national unity, interethnic and interfaith harmony, the values of culture and education, science and innovation, hard work and progress, care for the environment, and responsible and constructive patriotism," Yerlan Karin said.
He also emphasized the need for systematic work to explain the provisions of the Constitution and promote constitutional values.
Karin named a focus on the future as the third priority. At the center of this direction is the development of human capital through education and science, innovation and technology, culture and enlightenment.
"Here the focus is on developing human capital through science and education, innovation and technology, culture and enlightenment. The conceptual vector set by the strategic documents initiated by the head of state. These are primarily 'Qazaqstan Balalary,' 'Reading Nation,' 'Digital Kazakhstan' and others," he noted.
According to Karin, the ultimate goal of all three directions is the formation of a strong state and a progressive society.
"Thus, all three priorities address the main question: what kind of society we are building and in what country we will live. To do this, we must focus on a constructive agenda and constitutional values," the vice president concluded.
