Russian singer Yulia Savicheva, known for her hit "If Love Lives in the Heart," has announced her divorce from her husband after nearly 12 years of marriage, infohub.kz reports.
The 39-year-old performer said she has ended her relationship with her husband, composer Alexander Arshinov, with whom she has a daughter.
"For six months now I've been under incredible stress. My life has been turned upside down. I am currently in the process of divorcing my husband. The rose-colored glasses have finally fallen from my eyes," she said.
The singer admitted that, despite everything, she keeps moving forward.
"The universe has always sent me music during difficult periods of my life, and now it's happening again, for which I am very grateful. The demo of the song 'I Don't Love You' came when I was moving out of our shared apartment. I listened and cried. Music has always helped me express what's inside. Despite everything, I keep moving forward. I know everything will be fine," she said.
Fans supported the artist in the comments: "Now it's clear what was going on with Yulia," "Strength and health! And may everything be well," "Yulia, you're one of a kind! We beg you to take care of yourself and always choose yourself," "Yulia, we're with you. You're a strong girl. It will all pass, it will get easier."
Earlier, Yulia Savicheva said she was tired of criticism on social media.
