Russian singer Zara, who recently shared a photo on social media with her two grown-up sons and her father, was compelled to clarify questions raised by followers, reports the website infohub.kz.
The 43-year-old artist recently posted an Instagram picture featuring her high-school-age sons and her father, accompanied by a congratulatory message for the Day of Knowledge. However, after the family photo was published, a heated discussion erupted in the comments, and the singer had to set the record straight.
"My dears! Don't rush to conclusions! Thank you for looking at my photos so attentively and not staying indifferent! I read the comments under the post with photos of my sons on September 1 on VK, FB, Insta — and realized that so many stories have already been created around these shots. So I want to calmly clarify. The man with the beard is my dad. For me, he has always been and remains the most reliable person, the one who will support both in word and deed. I love my sons equally, with all my soul. And if in the photo I am a bit closer to one of them — it's just a random angle, there's no hidden meaning here," Zara wrote.
The artist also explained why her younger son looks serious in the picture. "Max is currently going through a stage of growing up: he's lost weight, changed his hairstyle, and tries to look more serious. There is so much touching in his striving to be 'adult' that I smile every time. Let him try, search for his own style — I'm here and will always support," she continued.
Furthermore, Zara revealed the nationality of her children. "My sons are not Kazakhs. At the same time, I sincerely respect Kazakh culture and have great warmth and love for the people of Kazakhstan — I have many dear friends there. My children are Kurds on their mother's side, that is, through me, and in their father's lineage, Russian, Ukrainian, and Tatar roots intertwine," the singer summarized.
