During talks in Oslo, Volodymyr Zelensky said a trilateral meeting of the leaders of the United States, the Russian Federation, and Ukraine is possible, infohub.kz reports.
According to the Ukrainian leader, Kyiv has concrete proposals for advancing toward peace. "We have clear ideas on how to achieve peace. On this issue, we are united with our European partners and want the Americans to convey these proposals to the Russian side. One important idea is to move toward a possible trilateral meeting of the leaders to discuss issues that only the leaders themselves can resolve," Zelensky said.
Earlier, the White House chief sharply criticized Volodymyr Zelensky, saying Ukraine should find a new leader capable of making deals. The Ukrainian president himself said in an interview with Bloomberg that Trump's policies are pushing Kyiv toward capitulation.
Media reports also suggested that the US president and his team would try to impose a peace deal on Ukraine on Russia's terms. Marco Rubio recently told journalists about Washington-Kyiv relations in the context of a peaceful settlement of the conflict between Kyiv and Moscow. According to him, Donald Trump is not just dissatisfied—he is irritated by Ukraine's position.
