In the fourth round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL) season 2026/27, St. Petersburg's Zenit inflicted a heavy defeat on Moscow's Dynamo, reports the website infohub.kz.

The match, held at the Gazprom Arena, ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of the home team. Already in the first half, Alexander Sobolev scored a brace, finding the net in the 29th and 33rd minutes, with the first goal coming from a penalty. In the second half, Maxim Glushenkov set the final score, hitting the opponent's goal in the 87th minute.

Kazakhstan national team defender Nuraly Alip started the game on the bench for Zenit and came on as a substitute in the 71st minute. During his time on the pitch, he neither scored nor received any disciplinary sanctions.

Thanks to this victory, the St. Petersburg side collected nine points and occupy second place in the standings, trailing only Krasnodar, who have a maximum of 12 points. Dynamo, with four points, round out the top ten.

The Moscow team features Kazakhstan national team midfielder Bakhtiyar Zaynutdinov, but due to ongoing health issues, he has not yet played in the current season.
