A college director in Zhambyl Region has been held administratively liable for failing to comply with lawful orders issued by state control and supervision bodies, and has been fined 64,000 tenge, the website infohub.kz reports.
According to the official Telegram channel of the courts of Zhambyl Region, the Zhualy District Court heard an administrative offense case against the college director over the failure to comply with lawful orders issued by state control and supervision bodies (Part 3 of Article 462 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
In March 2026, an inspection commission of Zhambyl Region audited the spending of budget funds by the college in Zhualy District. The audit identified violations: several employees had been paid excess wages. It also established that budget funds had been overspent during a major overhaul of the college.
The commission issued an order requiring the violations to be remedied by September. However, the violations were not fully remedied, and a protocol was consequently drawn up against the college director.
Guilt was proven by the protocol, the testimony of the parties and other case materials. The court recognized the admission of guilt and remorse as mitigating circumstances. No aggravating circumstances were established.
By court ruling, the man was found guilty under Part 3 of Article 462 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and fined 64,000 tenge. The ruling has entered into force.
