Andrei Pronchenko, head of the Kazakh company Zhambylgips, received remuneration of 55.3 million tenge for 2025. On average, this amounts to about 4.6 million tenge per month, reports infohub.kz.
According to the published notice, the total remuneration of members of the executive body for the year amounted to 55,253,000 tenge. The report also states that in 2024, the company's president received 45.99 million tenge. Notably, on June 30, 2026, Vladimir Rakhmanov became the president of Zhambylgips.
For comparison, the average monthly nominal wage in the Zhambyl region in the first quarter of this year was 328,900 tenge. This is one of the lowest figures in the country: only the North Kazakhstan region has a lower average at 326,700 tenge, while the national average reached 461,500 tenge.
The sole shareholder of Zhambylgips, which extracts, processes, and sells gypsum in the Zhambyl region, is the French company Société de Participations Financières et Industrielles, as reported in the 2024 financial statements. No more recent reports are publicly available, and in eGov, the owner is listed as one entity but not disclosed.
Zhambylgips holds licenses for the extraction of gypsum and gypsum anhydrite from two sites. The company also owns two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Taraz-Mramor and Taraz-gipsstroi.

The enterprise produces and sells dry building mixes, plaster mixes, marble stone, gypsum stone, standard gyproc, and other products. In 2024, Zhambylgips paid 391.3 million tenge in interest on a loan from Saint-Gobain Construction Products Rus (in 2023 – 393.2 million tenge).
