News of the couple's divorce upset fans. In a new Instagram post, Zhanel reflected on how a woman, though a fragile being, copes with life's hardships.
"Tenderness and courage, vulnerability and resilience are intertwined in every woman. Sometimes a woman captivates with her gentleness, and sometimes she astonishes with her boldness. One moment she can be vulnerable, and the next she can show unexpected strength. That is because a woman's essence cannot be reduced to a single character trait: each situation reveals a new facet of her personality. These qualities are inherent in me as well. Sometimes I am my father's beloved daughter; at other moments I am a brave mother raising four children; and sometimes I allow myself to cry and show my vulnerability. It seems to me that a woman's true beauty lies in her ability to embrace all of her manifestations. Perhaps that is what people mean when they say a woman has 40 souls," she noted.
