Days earlier, Dominican WBC world champion Carlos Adames posted a message to Alimkhanuly on X, tagging the Kazakh athlete's account. "Hey, are you clean now? Want to fight now? Are you ready? Let's do it," Adames wrote.
The response was swift: Alimkhanuly took to his personal Instagram page, mocking the Dominican in his stories.
"Yesterday I had a good laugh. Turns out this Adames called me out. I should have found a good mullah and sent him to him to read prayers. I even feel sorry for the guy! I suggest we step in the ring — he runs away. And when he runs, he says: let's fight. I don't get him. I was laughing so hard I couldn't even answer him," Alimkhanuly wrote.
