A graduation ceremony was held in Zhanaozen for participants of the 'Zharqyn Bolashaq' program, reports infohub.kz.
Of the 333 participants, 77 graduated from schools and 256 from colleges, earning degrees in technical, economic, and humanities fields. The group also includes future healthcare professionals and athletes.
The project is implemented by KazMunayGas (KMG). For five years, children from the Mangystau region have been studying at various educational institutions across the country, receiving quality education.
Among this year's graduates, 13 received the 'Altyn Belgi' award, 15 earned honors certificates, the highest score on the Unified National Test was 131 points, and 19 graduates received college diplomas with honors.
The 'Zharqyn Bolashaq' program covers high school students from Zhanaozen and five districts of the Mangystau region. It aims to provide comprehensive support for youth, from career selection to adaptation in new educational and professional environments.
KMG's support includes tuition fees, accommodation, transportation costs, a stipend, and meals. Graduates of the 'Zharqyn Bolashaq' program from the Mangystau region now continue their studies at leading universities in Kazakhstan.
