On the eve, a 48-year-old foreign national was arrested for 15 days for petty hooliganism in the Botanical Garden. Large-scale raids have begun in parks and squares of Astana, reports infohub.kz.
The joint raid was conducted by officials from the Yesil district akimat, the Astana Police Department, and public figures. The inspection started at the Botanical Garden. Such events will become regular and cover other public areas of the capital.
The raid participants monitor compliance with improvement rules and hold explanatory talks with visitors.
The akimat's statement notes: "At the same time, work is underway to prevent illegal trade and unauthorized rental of children's electric cars on the territory of the Botanical Garden, as such activity without permits is unsafe for the health and life of consumers."
Deputy Akim of Yesil district Bakytzhan Aldauov emphasized that the Botanical Garden is not an amusement park: it grows rare plants. It is intended for walks with children and outdoor recreation.
Deputy Head of the Public Security Department of the Astana Police Department Yerkin Zhanabyl said: "Since the beginning of the year, more than 700 persons have been brought to administrative responsibility for violating improvement rules on the adjacent territory of the Botanical Garden. Under Part 1 of Article 505 of the Administrative Code of Kazakhstan, a warning or an administrative fine of 20 MCI is provided. Also, more than 300 persons were held liable for trading in unauthorized places, with a fine of 10 MCI."
In the akimat, they gave a recent example: the day before, a foreign citizen was arrested for 15 days for violating public order in the Botanical Garden. A 38-year-old resident of a neighboring state tried to relieve himself on the lawn in front of vacationers. Police drew up a report, and the court imposed an administrative arrest of 15 days for petty hooliganism.
