The Nauryzbay District Court of Almaty has sentenced Azamat Yserkenov, administrator of Mukasan Shakhzadayev (a member of the group Nur-Mukasan), for assaulting singer Galymzhan Suleimen at Shakhzadayev's home, infohub.kz reports.

An open court hearing took place on July 14, attended by secretary Z. Dauletkul, state prosecutor B. Zhunis, the victim's lawyer A. Zhanysov, and defense attorney S. Usupzhanov, during which all case materials were reviewed in full.

According to the case materials, the incident occurred on November 20, 2025, around noon at the home of Mukasan Shakhzadayev on Saurik Batyr Street in the Kalkaman-2 neighborhood of Almaty. That day, the homeowner and the victim, Galymzhan Suleimen, were drinking alcohol. Around 1:00 p.m., Mukasan Shakhzadayev's administrator, Azamat Yserkenov, and another acquaintance, B. Koisoimasov, joined them.

Intoxicated, Galymzhan Suleimen began insulting those present with obscene language, offending their honor and dignity, after which the homeowner advised him to leave. Azamat Yserkenov pushed the victim out of the yard, but Suleimen continued banging on the gate, shouting, and cursing. When the victim opened the gate again, Yserkenov struck him several times in the face and head.

The court found Azamat Yserkenov guilty under Part 1 of Article 108-1 of the Criminal Code (Intentional infliction of minor harm to health) and sentenced him to a fine of 20 monthly calculation indices. According to the verdict, the convict must pay 86,500 tenge to the state budget within one month and additionally transfer 19,660 tenge to the victim compensation fund.
