Three people died after a car caught fire on the Astana-Petropavl highway in the Akmola region, reports infohub.kz.
The tragedy occurred near the village of Zhanatalap. According to the Department for Emergency Situations, the car was fully engulfed in flames by the time rescuers arrived.
One person survived and was hospitalized in a district hospital with thermal burns. First aid was provided before the ambulance arrived.
Authorities are currently identifying the victims and investigating the circumstances of the accident.
