A seven-day search ended successfully: a woman and her four children, who went missing in the Otyrar district of the Turkestan region, have been found alive and well, reports infohub.kz.
A resident of Otyrar district contacted the police, reporting that his wife and four children had left home. Officers from the organized crime unit of the Turkestan regional police department and the Otyrar district police station immediately arrived at the scene. Search and operational measures were launched.
The missing woman had with her children aged 6, 5, 3, and 10 months. Police set up checkpoints at district entry and exit points, checking vehicles. Alerts were sent to neighboring areas, and the search was intensified.
As a result of the measures, the woman and children were found in a taxi and taken to the police station. It turned out that she had quarreled with her husband and decided to leave for Shymkent, taking the children and documents. She lived in a rented apartment there, not informing anyone of her whereabouts.
A preventive conversation was held with the family members; relatives were invited. The parties reached a mutual agreement. The woman and children returned home safely. The Turkestan regional police thanked citizens who assisted in the search.
