In the village of Zhalpak-tal, located in Kazakhstan's West Kazakhstan region, a construction company has experienced a sharp decline in its financial performance. Qazaq Stroy Group, the firm registered in this unique settlement, saw its net profit for 2024 decrease by nearly 2.5 times.

Financial Downturn for Qazaq Stroy Group

The company's net profit for 2024 stood at 19.6 million tenge. This figure represents a substantial drop compared to the 51.9 million tenge reported in 2023. The overall revenue also saw a decrease, falling to 26.8 million tenge in 2024 from 55.7 million tenge the previous year. By the end of 2024, the company's retained earnings amounted to 6.2 million tenge, a significant reduction from the 76.6 million tenge recorded in 2023.

Leadership and Operations

Qazaq Stroy Group is solely owned and managed by Nurbek Nurseitov. The company holds licenses for construction and installation work, as well as for the extraction of minerals.

The "Yntymaқ" Tower Landmark

Zhalpak-tal gained prominence recently with the construction of a 30-meter replica of the Eiffel Tower, named the "Yntymaқ" Tower. This landmark was funded by the graduating class of 2006 from the local school, who collectively contributed 45 million tenge as a gift to their hometown. The tower is illuminated in the evenings and nights, quickly becoming a popular spot for residents and visitors to take photographs. The village of Zhalpak-tal has a population of approximately 5,000 people.
