A devastating incident has come to light in the Terenkol district of Pavlodar region, Kazakhstan, where a 26-year-old father is suspected of causing the death of his three-year-old daughter. The investigation into the September 2025 tragedy has revealed a pattern of alleged abuse.

Suspicions of Paternity Spark Abuse

According to investigators, the father's alleged motive stemmed from doubts about his daughter's paternity. The couple had two children: the three-year-old girl and a son born in May 2025. The father reportedly suspected his wife of infidelity and began systematically abusing their daughter as a result.

A Pattern of Violence

Prosecution documents indicate that the abuse was ongoing for several months, from January to September. The father is accused of tying his daughter to the bed with a scarf at night and repeatedly hitting her.

On the day of the tragic incident, the suspect had been drinking alcohol at a neighbor's banya (sauna). Upon returning home that evening, he allegedly took his daughter and struck her multiple times. He then reportedly returned to the banya, and in a fit of rage, picked up the child and threw her onto the concrete floor.

Fatal Injuries

The young girl succumbed to her severe injuries at the district hospital. Medical professionals documented a ruptured liver and internal bleeding as the cause of death.

Criminal Charges

The father has been charged with "Torture" and "Murder." He faces a potential life sentence if convicted. The accused has reportedly not confessed to the charges.
