Journalist Criticizes Companies for Misleading Promotions and Product Discrepancies
Journalist Gulbanu Abenova has voiced criticism regarding certain marketing practices and product quality issues prevalent in the market. Her recent statements, shared on social media, target specific companies and highlight a perceived lack of transparency and ethical conduct.
Concerns Over Product Weight and Honesty
Abenova specifically pointed to products from the "Tsesna" brand, alleging discrepancies between the stated weight on packaging and the actual amount of product inside. She shared her personal experience, stating, "We have been buying dough for meat from 'Tsesna' for a long time. I've said it before: it turns out to be less than the weight indicated on the packaging. This is not honest." This observation, she believes, erodes consumer trust.
Questioning Promotional Tactics
Furthermore, Abenova scrutinized the promotional strategies of some companies, particularly those involving large prizes like apartments. She questioned the effectiveness and public perception of such campaigns, suggesting that the resources could be better allocated. "They are giving away apartments for PR. But so far, no one has entered those homes; people are just holding certificates. Wouldn't it be better to pay employees decent salaries instead?" she pondered in her post.
Her commentary also touched upon the broader issue of companies profiting significantly from products that they themselves may not even use, raising questions about authenticity and genuine product belief.
