Abnormal heat in Kazakhstan has forced road services to check the condition of cement-concrete roads around the clock. During routine inspections, specialists discovered six sections with temperature deformations in the Zhambyl, Pavlodar and Turkestan regions, according to the website infohub.kz.

KazAvtoZhol reported that road crews and special equipment were immediately sent to the deformation sites, and all damage was repaired.

Road services are now operating in an enhanced mode. In extreme heat, concrete pavement can heat up to +60...+70 °C and above, causing strong stress in the slabs and potentially leading to deformation.

As of July 18, 1,636.5 kilometers of roads are under constant observation. Monitoring of cement-concrete highways of national importance continues around the clock.
