In Almaty, a conflict between a seller and a customer trying to buy cigarettes escalated into a brawl, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Almaty Police Department, the incident occurred in one of the city's shops. The customer asked to buy cigarettes, but the seller inquired about his age. The visitor claimed he was an adult man and looked his age, after which the verbal argument turned into a physical confrontation.
Police arrived at the scene after a call to 102. It turned out that the saleswoman had inflicted bodily harm on the customer. Both parties were taken to the Medeu District Police Department.
The man intends to file a complaint. Currently, an investigation is underway. All circumstances of the incident and the degree of responsibility of each participant are to be established, the police statement said. It was noted that the actions of both sides will be given a legal assessment in accordance with the law.
