In the Akmola region, a village akim discovered his tablet missing, which, as it turned out, had been stolen by an unknown person who entered the akimat building, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Department of Police of the Akmola region, a signal about a suspicious young man was received by the police of the Tselinograd district after he was spotted by surveillance cameras in a local cafe. The intruder entered the premises through a window and fled. The cafe owners promptly reported the incident to the police and provided the video footage. Although the recording mainly captured the suspect's silhouette, his identifying features were established.
The received description was passed on to patrol units and district inspectors. District police inspectors, police captains N.Zh. Imanbekov and N.M. Mauken, joined the search. On August 11, patrol officers noticed a young man born in 2004 on the street who matched the description. During a check, they found the tablet on him.
As it turned out, the device had been stolen from the akimat building of one of the rural settlements in the district. The village akim recognized his tablet and explained that he had previously noticed its loss but did not contact the police, thinking he might have lost it. During operational-search activities, the district inspectors examined surveillance camera footage and identified the suspect, the police reported.
