In Almaty, police discovered that a man facing criminal charges for non-payment of alimony committed another violation, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Almaty Police Department, criminal proceedings were underway against a man who evaded alimony payments. During the investigation, the investigator uncovered additional circumstances.
It turned out that the man had previously been stopped by a patrol unit. He was driving without a valid driver's license. But it also emerged that the car had been handed over to him by his own wife. As a result, both were held administratively liable.
The man was punished for driving without the appropriate license, and the woman for allowing an unlicensed person to drive.
Police noted that this case showed that investigators uncover not only the circumstances of the main criminal case but also other violations of the law. Response measures are taken for each such fact. The principle is simple: one violation should not go unnoticed just because it was discovered in the course of another case.
