Another street brawl broke out in Almaty, this time involving two drivers. The incident, captured on video, has drawn police attention, and the offender now faces criminal liability, reports infohub.kz.

The footage of the conflict was posted on the Instagram account kris_p_almata. The video shows how on August 20, on Kazybek Tauasaruly Street, a Mercedes driver blocked the road and reacted aggressively to requests to clear the way. As a result, a quarrel broke out between him and a Kia Rio driver, which escalated into a fight.

The Almaty Police Department commented on the situation. According to the department, the 41-year-old Mercedes driver struck the 30-year-old opponent several times. The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been opened on charges of hooliganism.

A pre-trial investigation is currently underway. Police have assured that the detainee's actions will be given a principled legal assessment, and he will face punishment in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that the video contains profanity, so the clip is intended for viewers over 18 years old.

Earlier, a video of a fight in one of Almaty's buses appeared online, where two men got into a scuffle and a third tried to separate them. The police also reacted to that incident.
