Almaty is buzzing with preparations for American rapper Kanye West's concert. Residents are sharing photos and videos of the organizers testing the show's special effects. Kursiv LifeStyle picked the most interesting shots... reports the website infohub.kz.

Almaty residents whose windows and balconies overlook the Central Stadium are planning to livestream the concert and inviting followers to join. Jokingly, users wonder how much apartment rents have increased on Satpayev Street.

Meanwhile, laser beams from Ye's equipment were visible across the city. By the way, viewers are warned that lasers can damage phone cameras. Filming is not prohibited, but the show's organizers are not responsible for their safety. In comments, users compare the beams to the Death Star from the Star Wars saga.

Recall that on August 14 in Almaty, from 16:00, sections of streets near the Central Stadium will be closed: Baitursynov, Satpayev, and Abai Avenue. As a result, routes of 26 buses and five trolleybuses will change. For spectators, 60 free shuttles will run from different points of the city.

Additionally, from 21:00, metro operations near the concert venue will be limited, but trains will run until 3:00 overall. Kursiv LifeStyle found out what considerations the city administration had in making this decision.
