In Almaty, ahead of Halloween, cars with bloody marks on their bodies, handprints, and human limbs hanging from the trunk have appeared on the streets. The police's stance on such "decorations" is reported by infohub.kz.
According to the official Instagram page of the Almaty Police Department, some drivers decided to turn their cars into mobile holiday decorations. However, what seems like fun to some can become a real cause for alarm for others.
"Imitating a crime scene on city roads is a dubious idea. Such visual effects can cause panic, prompt calls to emergency services, and distract other road users," the department believes.
The Almaty Police Department added that there is also a legal aspect. According to traffic regulations, transported items must not restrict the driver's view, impede control, cover license plates, lights, or create a danger to others.
Depending on the nature of the decorations and identified violations, the driver may face administrative liability, including under Article 590 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The police urged drivers not to turn public roads into a testing ground for dubious experiments. The holiday ends, but responsibility for road safety remains.
Recall that earlier in Almaty, a scandal erupted over the decoration of one of the city's establishments with an object resembling a human figure. A conversation was held with the owner.
