A video circulated on social media showing a Mercedes driver blatantly and grossly violating traffic rules on the streets of Almaty, reports infohub.kz.
Police officers monitoring the internet quickly identified the violator. He turned out to be a 19-year-old local resident. An investigation revealed that the young man had no driver's license at all.
“He has been held administratively liable for this violation. In addition, due to his demonstrative behavior and public order violation, the driver was taken to the police, and by a decision of the specialized inter-district administrative court of Almaty, he was charged with petty hooliganism,” the police reported.
The violator was sentenced to five days of administrative arrest. The Mercedes was towed to an impound lot.
