A resident of Almaty drove his car onto the beach of Lake Balkhash, where people, including children, were resting and swimming at the time. For this, he was arrested for five days, reports the website infohub.kz.
The incident occurred on the shore of Lake Balkhash near the village of Ulken in the Zhambyl district. After a post about the violation appeared on the social network Threads, police officers conducted a check.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was established that 32-year-old Arystanbek Abu, a resident of Almaty, drove onto the shoreline where vacationers, including children, were present. As a result of the check, the violator was held accountable for petty hooliganism.
"By court decision, Arystanbek Abu has been sentenced to five days of arrest," the Ministry stated.
The violator's vehicle has been impounded and taken to a special parking lot. The police reminded the public to observe public order and follow the established rules of behavior in places of mass recreation.
