Residents and visitors of Almaty have been warned of temporary traffic restrictions on Saina Street and Alatau Avenue, reports infohub.kz.

According to the city akimat's press service, one of the restrictions is due to the breakthrough of Saina Street, where asphalt concrete paving will be carried out.

From 07:00 on October 10 to 23:00 on October 12, traffic will be closed on the western side of Saina Street from Ryskulov Avenue to Monke Bi Street, as well as on Sharipov Street.

In addition, due to the reconstruction of utility networks, temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced on a section of Alatau Avenue. They will be in effect from 8:00 to 20:00 on October 10 and 11. During this period, reverse traffic will be introduced on a local section south of Raiymbek Avenue.

"Warning signs will be installed on the repaired section. We ask drivers to plan their routes in advance," the drivers were warned.
