On Friday, November 6, traffic in Almaty reached its maximum congestion level: according to the 2GIS app, traffic jams in the city were rated at 10 points, infohub.kz reports.
The Telegram channel Almaty Today also reported 10-point traffic jams. A large number of city streets are marked in red on the 2GIS map. According to the markers, numerous road accidents occurred amid the congestion in Almaty, which also affected the traffic situation.
Drivers stuck in traffic are leaving comments in the app. However, many of them cannot be quoted as they contain obscene language. "So why the traffic jam?", "Get out on the street", "The shackles of traffic were removed", "Blocked off? Anyone know?", "Life is a traffic jam," city residents write.
