According to media reports, the project is being developed by 53 Degrees Global in collaboration with Walt Disney. The project promises an in-depth look behind the scenes of British royal life, as told by someone who enjoyed almost unlimited trust from the late monarch.
For many years, Kelly was considered one of the queen's closest friends. Elizabeth II allowed her to publish memoirs about the royal wardrobe and personal life at the palace. The former aide always spoke warmly of her service, recalling touching and amusing moments such as dancing with the queen to ABBA songs in her private quarters.
Nevertheless, the upcoming film is causing concern within the royal family. Observers believe the palace has no leverage over the situation. Experts note that if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were able to release candid memoirs and a series, then nothing prevents the former "keeper of secrets" from sharing her version of what happened behind closed doors.
