Producers from the Aktobe region will bring over 200 tonnes of meat, fish, vegetables and other products to Astana for a fair on 3 and 4 October, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Astana city administration, more than 200 tonnes of products will be delivered from the Aktobe region. Over 20 producers and processors from 12 districts of the region and the city of Aktobe will take part in the fair.
The fair will offer meat, dairy products, vegetables, fish, eggs, sausages, flour and pasta, among other goods. At the same time, producers from the East Kazakhstan region will also sell their products, bringing over 150 tonnes.
"Residents of the capital will be able to buy meat, dairy and fish products, vegetables and other goods at 15–20 percent below market prices. The products at the fair will be presented by companies such as Ais+, Agrofirma Tau, Novo-Alzhansky Melkombinat, Ramazan, SPK Aibek, Stepnoye, Rokos, Izet Green House, Greenhouse Kazakhstan, Global Master Group and other enterprises of the region," the city administration said.
The fair will be held at the hippodrome, located at 1 Qarqaraly Street. It will operate from 7:00 to 18:00.
Earlier, the Ministry of Trade and Integration reported that since the beginning of the year, prices for socially significant food products have risen by only 1.4%, compared to 7.9% a year earlier.
