Roadworks on a section of Tole Bi Street in Kazakhstan's capital have been extended, keeping the intersection with Uly Dala Avenue fully closed to traffic until August 28, according to infohub.kz.
The Astana Monitoring and Rapid Response Center iKomek said repair work on Tole Bi Street, from R. Baglanova Street to Uly Dala Avenue, will continue until that date.
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes: from Turan Avenue via Yeg 54 Street to Tole Bi Street, or from Uly Dala Avenue via a local passage to Tole Bi Street.
The restriction applies specifically to the intersection of Uly Dala Avenue and Tole Bi Street, where the section is completely closed to vehicular traffic.
The center also urged road users to plan their trips in advance and account for possible changes in traffic organization, apologizing for the temporary inconvenience.
