As autumn approaches, Kazakhstan is set to experience a noticeable drop in temperatures: from September 10 to 12, the mercury in the north of the country will fall to +13°C. Along with this, most regions will see rain, with thunderstorms and stronger winds in places, reports infohub.kz.
According to Kazhydromet's forecast, the weather will be influenced by a northwestern cyclone and its associated atmospheric fronts, bringing unsettled conditions and a gradual decrease in temperatures.
"Unsettled weather is expected with rain, thunderstorms in places, stronger winds, and a gradual drop in air temperature," the forecast reads.
The most noticeable cooling is expected in the northern and northwestern regions, where daytime temperatures will range from +13 to +23 degrees. In the central part of the country, thermometers will show +15 to +25 degrees.
However, the autumn chill will not yet affect all of Kazakhstan. The southeast will remain warm, with rain forecast only for September 12.
In the west, on the contrary, after the cyclone passes, precipitation will weaken and the weather will gradually stabilize, with temperatures rising to +20 to +28°C.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that the Ministry of Emergency Situations had published a weather forecast for September 9. According to the ministry, most of the country will still see 30-degree heat, while the western regions remain the zone of greatest cooling with heavy precipitation.
