The bodies of two Kazakh citizens who died in the United Arab Emirates have been sent home, reports infohub.kz.

According to official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhanbolat Ussenov, on August 28, the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Dubai organized the repatriation of the bodies of Akzhan Bokhanova and Zhuldyz Bokhanova.

According to the MFA representative, the investigation into the circumstances of their deaths is ongoing by the UAE law enforcement authorities. Kazakh diplomats remain in contact with the prosecutor's office and other competent authorities of the Emirates and will continue to provide necessary assistance to the victims' family.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan once again expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased," said Zhanbolat Ussenov.

It is recalled that several days ago, the MFA press service reported the deaths of two Kazakh women in the city of Sharjah. Later it became known that the sisters, aged 20 and 22, were working in a beauty salon. They were found dead in a rented apartment. The causes of the incident and any signs of violent death have not yet been established.
