Furthermore, more than 10,100 consumers in Colombia, affected by the devastating magnitude 7.4 earthquake, remain without gas supply. Recovery is complicated by repeated infrastructure failures during debris removal.

The head of the association of gas industry enterprises of the republic, Luz Stella Murgas, stated that of the total number of disconnected users, nearly 6,000 are in the departments of Valle del Cauca and Cauca. Special teams are already checking the technical condition of networks in the affected areas.

Recall that on August 10, a strong earthquake of magnitude 7.4 occurred in Colombia. In the evening of the same day, 30 deaths were reported. On August 12, it became known that a state of disaster was declared in the country.
