Regular moderate-intensity exercise can significantly reduce pain levels and ease depression symptoms, according to a new study, as reported by infohub.kz.

Researchers found that adopting a simple daily habit—regular moderate physical activity—can substantially improve the well-being of people suffering from chronic pain and depressive disorders. The study emphasizes that you don't need to exhaust yourself with intense gym workouts to see noticeable benefits.

Even light daily activities such as brisk walking, cycling, or stretching stimulate endorphin production and improve blood circulation. This helps reduce bodily pain and gently regulate emotional state. Experts note that physical activity influences brain neuroplasticity, decreasing pain sensitivity and lowering stress levels.

The authors recommend at least 20–30 minutes of movement per day. They believe this accessible approach can be an effective and safe complement to standard therapy, helping improve overall quality of life without additional medication.
