The exclusive Dolce & Gabbana beach in Italy, designed to epitomize luxury and impeccable service, failed to meet the expectations of well-known bloggers Sergei Grigoriev-Appolonov (Grey Wiese) and beauty blogger Igor Sinyak. They shared their impressions in a new video, reports infohub.kz.

For renting sunbeds for four, the guests paid 600 euros, with food and drinks not included in the price. Despite the stylish design of the location in the brand's recognizable style, tourists could not relax due to constant vendors.

According to the bloggers, instead of a peaceful rest, visitors are accosted by sellers offering massages, food, various goods, and bags. They were particularly annoyed by the presence of vendors selling supposedly branded items. Grigoriev-Appolonov and Sinyak examined the bags and concluded they were cheap fakes. Yet some of these were priced between 1,000 and 1,800 euros.

It should be noted that in Italy, the law ensuring free and unimpeded access to the coastal strip and water for everyone is strictly enforced, unlike in Kazakhstan, where private beaches often completely isolate outsiders. Because of this free passage, the territory of the elite establishment turned into a thoroughfare.

An additional disappointment was the sea, which, due to its shallowness, did not live up to expectations of an elite resort. Furthermore, the food offered and the level of service did not match the stated price tag, leaving the bloggers with mixed feelings about their stay at one of Italy's most expensive beaches.

The bloggers also wondered why spots right by the water were almost fully booked for the entire season by individual families, forcing guests to sit farther from the sea.

"I think even reputationally for Dolce & Gabbana, this is a real damage," the bloggers noted.

In the evening, the tourists went to a restaurant recommended to them. However, there too, impressions were mixed. According to the bloggers, dishes cost around 40 euros.

"Everything here is a bit under-: under-washed, under-cooked, under-finished," joked Grigoriev-Appolonov.

At the end of the trip, the bloggers compared the resort with other destinations. In their opinion, Monaco turned out to be cheaper, with better or comparable service, food, water, and accommodation. They also mentioned Thailand as an alternative, where they believe a vacation would have been significantly cheaper.
