A cafe patron in Kostanay went on a rampage, smashing dishes and resisting police officers. The incident occurred at one of the city's establishments, according to infohub.kz.
NUR.KZ reports, citing the Kostanay Region Police Department, that law enforcement received a report of a public order disturbance. Upon arrival, officers found a 43-year-old man in a state of alcohol intoxication who had smashed dishes inside the premises.
The man refused to comply with the officers' lawful demand to go to the police station to clarify the circumstances. In a published recording, he can be heard saying: "Why are you talking to me like that? I don't give a damn — audio, video, whatever... I promise you, want to go a few rounds? What do you want? Don't give me your laws... What's your name?"
The police department stressed that the man disobeyed the officers' lawful orders, used obscene language, behaved aggressively and attempted to offer physical resistance. Materials have been compiled for a procedural decision in the case, and the man has been detained.
